Eldoraigne is a very popular suburb with large stablished trees, relative low density and classifies itself as upmarket.

Eldoraigne is host to several key attractions such as Eldoraigne and Sutherland High Schools. Eldoraigne High School was recently ranked 1st amongst Gauteng's Secondary Schools which promotes the popularity of this suburb as a preferred residential suburb.

Sutherland High School is also a very popular school and is situated immediately adjacent to Eldoraigne High School - currently a joint use agreement for the schools popular astro turf courts.

Eldoraigne is also extremely centrally situated amongst several other schools such as Wierdapark Primary, Hennopspark Primary, Swartkops Primary and English medium schools such as Crest College, Springvale Primary and The Way Christian School.

Eldoraigne represents the home to as many as 12118 adults and is known as an area where the average combined gross income per month is between R 55,000 and R 70,000 per month.

Eldoraigne is host to as many as 2440 sectional title units in security complexes of which the average sales value represents R1,200,000. The growth in this market segment has been relatively stagnant during the past 12 months.

Eldoraigne also hosts 2274 freehold stands which has showed steady positive capital growth since 2013. The popularity of this suburb can be ascribed to its central location and ease of accessibility to main traffic routes, schools and amenities.

According to the most recent census Eldoraigne is populated by 76,75% white occupants with the remainder being made up of 12.91% Black Africans, 7.13% Indian and the remainder a mixture of culture groups.

The demographics of the area mainly as a result of the large number of Afrikaans schools in the area.

Several strip malls can be found in this suburb yet the most prominent retail establishments can be found at The Mall @ Reds situated in Rooihuiskraal North and also at Centurion Mall situated in the suburb previously known as Verwoerdburg.

Eldoraigne transfers about 5% of its residential quota per annum which is probably one of the lowest rotations and gives evidence of the popularity of the suburb. As many as 57% of owners in this suburb retains ownership of their assets for periods longer than 8 years which is indicative of the fact that their kids are schooled for basically their entire school life before property ownership changes.

An important factor also is that as many as 94% of property owners in this suburb is older than 36 years of age.

The suburb is hosts to a few popular security villages distinguished as either gated communities or formal Home Owners Associations.

Gated Communities include Eldo Sec (Entrance in Brink Street), Bakenkop Gated Community (Entrance in Caper Road), Eld0 18 with it's entrances in Underberg and Goshawk Streets respectively, Eldo 3 Manor (Entrance in Swart Street), Die Uitsigpark (Entrance in Die Uitsig Street) and also a smaller more executive estate being Ilanda Park with it's entrance from Drienie Close and also Mardine Park with it's entrance from Ireland Road.

Formal Home Owners Associations include amongst others Eldo Glen East and West,  Eldo Park, Eldo Meadows Estate; Eldo Village Estate, Eldo Ridge Estate and Eldo Manor Estate.

Eldoraigne property ownership is always a good choice because of the high demand in this area and also, other than Amberfield, having the highest concentration of security villages.
